Welcome to the CLLD version of RefLex database, an open access reference multilingual lexicon for African languages. It contains 1.435 lexical sources that correspond to 927.845 lexical records from 815 distinct languoids.
The CLLD version of the RefLex database contains a majority of records from the original database (www.reflex.cnrs.fr, 927.845 out of 1.686.460). While the original database includes diverse additional tools for language comparison and reconstruction, the CLLD version is meant to provide users with a searchable sample of the data without the access to these additional tools. Table 1 contains a comparison of functionalities of the CLLD version and the original database.
